An Opera without lyrics to go beyond borders
"I Recall.." (or a day of a Mom) is a 25 min "lyric-less" opera to connect the whole world with the universal language of imagination. Singers are suppose to project ideas and meanings with their colors of voices and body expressions. It's an experience to help us focus and listen to the intentions and to appreciate wonders of human voices.

Brief Story:
A dancer gave up her performing career to become a mom with two kids. Her parents own a dance studio that she visits daily but she doesn't want to participate anymore after long pause of her career. One day, she leaves the house w/o her cellphone. When she realizes it and goes home to pick it up, she accidentally finds out her husband's affair. She kicks the two out. She feels totally defeated and questions herself for the meaning of life. At the darkest time, the spirit of an old portrait of hers comes out to show her how she can still love through her passion, dance. She feels hopeful again. Later, her kids are brought home. The mom struggles to tell her kids anything. Kids decide to work together and put their mom to bed. While everyone's in bed, mom goes through twists and turns and falls asleep eventually.

"Quantum Mechanics", for my American Dream, Tom Lehrer. Without him knowing, we've shared common interests in music, math, humanity,... and a wacky sense of humor. If you could help show this video to him, much obliged! (titles available)
